Entertainment desk: Monali Tagore Indian singer and actress Monali Tagore’s mother has passed away. The mother of India’s National Film Award-winning Bengali singer breathed her last at 2 o’clock on Friday (May 17).
On Friday afternoon, Monali Tagore sister, Rabindra Musician Mehuli Tagore, announced the news of the mother’s death on her Facebook status.
In this post, Mehuli Thakur writes, ‘Shackles are torn…. Finally an end to suffering…. At 2:10 pm, mother has settled down.
According to Hindustan Times, Monali Thakur’s mother was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata at the end of last April Monali Tagore. His two kidneys were not working, he was on dialysis. The oxygen level had dropped to 51. Placed on bipap support four days ago. Monali’s mother fought death for 18 days and crossed the border.
Monali-Mehuli Tagore’s father was popular actor-singer Shakti Tagore. They lost their father during the Corona crisis. Shakti Tagore passed away on October 5, 2020. Monali-Mehuli lost her mother in a gap of three years and eight months.
