In an interview given to Film Companion, Kriti Sanon said about this disparity in remuneration, ‘There is a huge disparity in remuneration nowadays without any reason.

Sometimes it is also seen that the person who has not given a single hit in the last 10 years is also getting 10 times the remuneration.

Mentioning the reason, Kriti said, “According to the producers, male-centric movies do better business than women-centric movies.” And that’s where it all makes a difference, I think.

Giving an example, Kriti said that the producers were not willing to invest as much money in their film ‘Crew’ as they would have if they had made a film with three actors.

But there were three best actresses of Bollywood in this movie. According to Kriti, it never changes as time goes on.
