নিম্নে যে সব কারণে সিয়াম ভঙ্গ হয় না সেগুলো উল্লেখ করা হল:

১★ জিহ্বা দিয়ে খাদ্য বা তরী-তরকারীর স্বাদ দেখতে পারবেন। তরকারী গলার ভিতর প্রবেশ না করলে সিয়াম অবস্থায় খাদ্যের স্বাদ দেখতে কোন অসুবিধা নেই। Roja
দলীলঃ ইবনে আব্বাস (রঃ) বলেন, “কোন খাদ্য, সির্কা এবং কোন কিছু কিনতে হলে তা চেখে দেখতে কোন দোষ নেই।(বুখারী ২৭৫),(বাইহাক্বী ৪/২৬১)

২★ সুরমা ব্যবহার, চোখে বা কানে ঔষধ ব্যবহার করিতে পারিবেন।
দলীলঃ আনাস রাদিআল্লাহু আনহু, হাসান ও ইবরাহীম (রহ.) সিয়াম পালনকারীদের জন্য সুরমা ব্যবহার কোনরূপ অসুবিধা মনে করতেন না। Roja (বুখারী ও আবু দাউদ ১/৩২৩)

৩★ শরীর বা মাথায় তেল ব্যবহার করিতে পারিবেন। দলীলঃ হজরত কাতাদা (রা.) বলেন, ‘রোজাদারের তেল ব্যবহার করা উচিত, যাতে রোজার কারণে সৃষ্ট ফ্যাকাশে বর্ণ দূর হয়ে যায়। -মুসান্নাফে আবদুর রাজ্জাক: ৪/৩১৩

৪★ শুধুমাত্র রোগ আরোগ্যের জন্য ইনজেকশান বা ইনসুলীন নিতে পারবেন।

৫★ রোজা অবস্থায় স্ত্রীকে স্পর্শ করা বা কাছে বসে আদর করিতে পারিবেন, তবে সর্ত হলো নিজেকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করার পূর্ণ ক্ষমতা থাকতে হইবে।
দলীলঃ রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সিয়াম অবস্থায় (স্ত্রী) চুম্বন করতেন, শরীরে শরীর স্পর্শ করতেন। কেননা, তিনি তার প্রবৃত্তির (যৌন চাহিদা) উপর তোমাদের চেয়ে অধিক নিয়ন্ত্রক ছিলেন। (বুখারী-১৯২৭)

৬★ রোজার মাসে রাত্রি বেলায় স্ত্রী সহবাস করিতে পারিবেন।
দলীলঃ রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম রাতে সহবাস করে ফজর পর্যন্ত কাটিয়েছেন। অতঃপর গোসল করে ফজরের সালাত আদায় করছেন। Roja (বোখারি : ১৮২৯, মুসলিম : ১১০৯)

৭★ কুলি করা, নাকে পানি দেয়া। তবে গড়গড়া করবে না। নাকের খুব ভিতরে পানি টান দিয়ে নেবে না।
দলীলঃ সিয়াম অবস্থায় না থাকলে অযুর সময় নাকের ভিতর উত্তমরূপে পানি টেনে নেবে। (তিরমিযী ৩য় ১৪৬)

৮★ গরম থেকে বাঁচার জন্য মাথায় শীতল পানি দেয়া, গোসল করা, ভিজা কাপড় গায়ে জড়িয়ে রাখতে পারিবেন।
দলীলঃ সিয়াম অবস্থায় তাপ বা পিপাসার কারণে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তার মাথায় পানি ঢালতেন। Roja (আবূ দাঊদ-২৩৬৫)

৯★ মিসওয়াক করিতে পারিবেন। Roja
দলীলঃ রাসুলুল্লাহ সাঃ বলেছেন, আমার উম্মতের কষ্টবোধ হবে এ আশঙ্কা না থাকলে প্রত্যেক অযুর সময় মিসওয়াক করার নির্দেশ দিতাম। (বুখারী ৮৮৭)

১০★ সিংগা লাগানো যাবে।
দলীলঃ রাসুলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম সিয়াম অবস্থায় নিজের শরীরে শিঙ্গা লাগিয়েছেন। (বুখারী-১৯৩৮)

১১★ কোন কিছুর ঘ্রাণ যেমম ফুলের বা আতরের ঘ্রাণ নিতে পারবেন। তবে ধুমপান, আগরবাতি ও চন্দন কাঠের ধোঁয়া বা ধুপ গ্রহণ করিতে পারিবে না।

রোজা অবস্থায় কি কি করা বৈধ? ইনশাআল্লাহ্‌ আপনারা বুঝতে পেড়েছেন। তবে প্রতি ক্ষেত্রে অবশ্যই সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করিবেন। আল্লাহ্ই ভালো জানেন। আল্লাহ্‌ হাফেয।

যে সব কারণে সিয়াম বিনষ্ট হয় না (১২টি)

নিম্নে যে সব কারণে সিয়াম ভঙ্গ হয় না সেগুলো উল্লেখ করা হল:

◍ ১. ভুলক্রমে খাদ্য ও পানীয় গ্রহণ করে ফেললে সিয়াম ভঙ্গ হয় না। এরূপ কারো ঘটলে মনে পড়ার সাথে সাথে বিরত হবে এবং সিয়ামে বহাল থাকবে। তার জন্য কাযা ও কাফফারা কিছুই নেই। Roja

রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেছেন,

إِذَا نَسِيَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ

“যে ব্যক্তি সিয়াম অবস্থায় ভুলক্রমে কিছু খেয়ে বা পান করে ফেলে সে যেন তার সিয়াম পূর্ণ করে। কেননা আল্লাহই তাকে খাইয়েছেন ও পান করিয়েছেন।” [বুখারি হাদিস নং ১৯৩৩, মুসলিম, হাদিস নং ১১৫৫]

সূর্য অস্তমিত গেছে এই ধারণা করে ভুলক্রমে কেউ যদি ইফতার করে ফেলে, পরে বুঝতে পারে যে, সূর্য ডুবে নি, তাহলে সে তাৎক্ষণিক পানাহার থেকে বিরত হবে। অত:পর সূর্য অস্ত গেলে ইফতার করবে। তার রোযা বিশুদ্ধ হবে। কোন অসুবিধা হবে না। কেননা আল্লাহ বলেছেন,

رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا

“হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমরা যদি ভুল করে ফেলি বা করতে ভুলে যাই, তবে আমাদের পাকড়াও করো না”। [সূরা বাকারা: ২৮৬] Roja

◍ ২. যেসব ইনজেকশন দ্বারা খাদ্য ও পানীয়ের কাজ হয়না-যেমন: জ্বর, ব্যথা, কাটা-পোড়া, ক্ষুধার কারণে নয় এমন দুর্বলতা ইত্যাদি রোগের জন্য যেসব ইনজেকশন করা হয় (পেশী, চামড়া বা শিরার ইনজেকশন) তাতে সিয়ামের কোন ত্রুটি হবে না, কারণ তা খাদ্য ও পানীয় কাজ করে না। Roja

অনুরূপভাবে ডায়াবেটিসের জন্য ইনসুলিন ইনজেকশন, দাঁতের চিকিৎসার জন্য অবশ করার ইনজেকশন প্রভৃতির কারণেও সিয়ামের ক্ষতি হবে না।

◍ ৩. মিলনের মাধ্যমে জুনবী হোক বা স্বপ্নদোষের মাধ্যমে-উভয় অবস্থায় গোসল না করেই সিয়ামের নিয়ত ও সাহুর গ্রহণ করতে পারবে, এতে সিয়ামের কোন ত্রুটি হবেনা।

তবে ফজরের সালাতের পূর্বে অবশ্যই গোসল করে নিবে। আয়েশা (রাঃ) বলেছেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম স্বপ্নদোষের মাধ্যমে নয়, স্ত্রী সঙ্গমের মাধ্যমে জানাবত (নাপাক) অবস্থায় ফজর করতেন। অতঃপর গোসল করতেন ও সিয়াম পূর্ণ করতেন। [বুখারি হাদিস নং ১৯২৬]

◍ ৪. রোযা অবস্থায় স্বপ্নদোষ হলে, রোগ, ভয়-ভীতি বা মানসিক দুর্বলতার কারণে (জাগ্রত অবস্থায় উত্তেজনা ব্যতীত) বীর্যপাত হলে সিয়ামের কোন অসুবিধা হবে না। কেননা এতে তার কোন হাত নেই।

◍ ৫. ইচ্ছাকৃত নয় রোগের কারণে বমি হলে সিয়ামের কোন ত্রুটি হবে না। [দলিল ইতোপূর্বে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে]

◍ ৬. শরীর থেকে রক্ত বের হলে বা শিঙ্গা লাগালে সিয়াম নষ্ট হবে না। সিয়াম অবস্থায় শিঙ্গা লাগানো ও অপারেশন করা যায়। উক্ত অবস্থায় অধিক দুর্বলতার কারণে সিয়াম ভাঙ্গার অনুমতি থাকার কথা ভিন্ন।

রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম ইহরাম অবস্থায় ও সিয়াম রত অবস্থায় শিঙ্গা লাগিয়েছেন। [বুখারি হাদিস নং ১৯৩৮ ও ১৯৩৯]

কিন্তু একটি হাদিসে এসেছে, যে ব্যক্তি শিঙ্গা লাগায় এবং যাকে লাগানো হয় উভয়েরই সিয়াম ভেঙ্গে যায়। উহা বুখারির উপরোক্ত হাদিস এবং দারাকুতনী, বায়হাকী ও ত্বাবরানীর বর্ণিত হাদিসের মাধ্যমে মনসুখ হয়ে গেছে।

অনুরূপভাবে জখমের কারণে রক্ত বের হওয়া, ব্লাড টেস্টের জন্য রক্ত দেয়া, দাঁত থেকে রক্ত বের হওয়া বা দাঁত উঠানোর সময় রক্ত বের হলে সিয়ামের ক্ষতি হবে না।

◍ ৭. স্ত্রীকে চুম্বন দেয়া ও হাল্কা বিনোদন করার অনুমতি আছে। রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম থেকে বিনা স্বতন্ত্রতার সহিত এ সবের বৈধতা সাব্যস্ত হয়েছে। তবে ঐ লোকদের জন্য যারা কামপ্রবৃত্তিকে নিয়ন্ত্রণ করতে পারবে। [বুখারি হাদিস নং ১৯২৭, ১৯২৮, ১৯২৯ ও আস সিয়াম ২২৮-২২৯ পৃঃ। শেষোক্ত গ্রন্থ দ্রষ্টব্য।] Roja

◍ ৮. মলদ্বার, লিঙ্গের ছিদ্র দিয়ে ঔষধ প্রবেশ করালে সিয়াম নষ্ট হবে না। এমনিভাবে পেটের ভিতর পাকস্থলীর বাইরে, মাথা ফেটে গেলে, মাথার ভিতর ওষুধ প্রবেশ করালে সিয়াম ভঙ্গ হবে না। Roja [আস সিয়াম ২৩১-২৩৪ পৃঃ।]

◍ ৯. চোখে কাজল ব্যবহার করলে, চোখে-কানে ওষুধের ফোটা দিলে, হাঁপানি বা শ্বাসকষ্টের জন্য নাকে ভাপ নেয়া, ইনহেলার বা অক্সিজেন গ্রহণ করা, নারীদের মেকআপ ব্যবহার প্রভৃতিতে সিয়াম নষ্ট হবে না।

◍ ১০. পানি দ্বারা কুলি করা ও নাকে পানি দিয়ে পরিষ্কার করাতে সিয়ামের ত্রুটি হয়না। তবে বেশী করে গড়গড়া করে কুলি করবে না। এসব করতে যেয়ে নাক বা গলা দিয়ে ভুলক্রমে কিছু প্রবেশ করলে সিয়াম নষ্ট বা মাকরূহ হবে না। বিভিন্ন সাহাবি ও তাবেঈ থেকে এরূপ সাব্যস্ত হয়েছে। [আস সিয়াম ২৩৪-২৩৬ পৃঃ]

◍ ১১. পানি দ্বারা বেশী বেশী গোসল করলে, বা গরমের কারণে মাথায় বেশী বেশী পানি ঢাললে, সাঁতার কাটলে, পানিতে ডুব দিলে কোন অসুবিধা নেই। আতর ও ফুলের সুগন্ধি নিলে বা মাখলে, তৈল, ক্রিম ইত্যাদি ব্যবহার করলে, সিঁথি করলে সিয়ামের কোন অসুবিধা হয় না।

গড়গড়া করার জন্য ঔষধ ব্যবহার করলে, মিসওয়াক ও টুথপেস্ট ব্যবহার করলে, থুথু বা কফ গিলে ফেললে সিয়ামের কোন ক্ষতি হবে না। Roja

◍ ১২. মহিলারা খানা পাকানোর সময় তরকারীর বিভিন্ন অবস্থা যাচায়ের জন্য প্রয়োজন থাকলে জিহ্বা দ্বারা পরীক্ষা করতে পারে। বিভিন্ন সাহাবি ও তাবেঈ থেকে এসবের বৈধতা সাব্যস্ত হয়েছে বিষয়গুলি [দলিলসহ দেখুন: আস সিয়াম ২৩৪- ২৩৭পৃঃ]

What is permissible to do while Roja ?

1★ You can taste the taste of food or curry with the tongue. If the curry does not enter the throat, there is no difficulty in tasting food while fasting.
Evidence: Ibn Abbas (RA) said, “There is no harm in buying food, vinegar and anything else and tasting it. (Bukhari 275), (Bayhaqi 4/261) Roja

2★ Using surma, you can use eye or ear medicine.
Evidence: Anas Radi Allahu Anhu, Hasan and Ibrahim (R.A.) did not consider the use of surma to be a problem for fasting people. (Bukhari and Abu Dawud 1/323)

3★ You can use the oil on the body or head. Proof: Hazrat Qatada (R.A.) said, ‘Rosadar oil should be used, so that the pale complexion caused by fasting is removed. -Musannaf Abdur Razzaq: 4/313

4★ Can only take injections or insulin for disease treatment.

5★ You can touch or caress your wife while fasting, but the condition is that you must have full control over yourself.
Evidence: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to kiss (his wife) while he was fasting, and touch his body. Because he was more in control of his instincts (sexual needs) than you. (Bukhari-1927)

6★ During the month of fasting, the wife can have intercourse at night. Roja
Evidence: Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam spent the night having intercourse till dawn. After taking a bath and performing the Fajr prayer. (Bokhari: 1829, Muslim: 1109)

7 ★ To gargle, give water to the nose. But don’t pretend. Do not take the water too deep inside the nose.
Proof: If you are not fasting, you will draw water inside your nose during ablution. (Tirmidhi 3rd 146)

8★ You can put cold water on your head, take a bath, wrap wet clothes on your head to avoid heat.
Proof: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pour water on his head while fasting due to heat or thirst. (Abu Dawud-2365)

9★ Miswalk can be done. Roja
Evidence: Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said, If there was no fear that my Ummah would suffer, I would have ordered miswak during every ablution. (Bukhari 887)

10★ Singha can be installed.
Evidence: Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) attached horns to his body while fasting. (Bukhari-1938)

11★ You can smell something like flowers or perfume. However, smoking, incense and sandalwood smoke or incense cannot be accepted.

The reasons for not breaking the fast are mentioned below:

◍ 1. Taking food and drink by mistake does not break the fast. If such happens to someone, he will stop as soon as he remembers and will remain in Siyam. There is no Qaza and Kaffarah for him.

The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Roja

إِذَا نَسِيَ فَأَكَلَ وَشَرِبَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ فَإِنَّمَا أَطْعَمَهُ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاهُ

“Whoever accidentally eats or drinks while fasting should complete his fast. Because it is Allah who fed him and made him drink.” [Bukhari Hadith No. 1933, Muslim, Hadith No. 1155]

If one mistakenly breaks his fast thinking that the sun has set, but later realizes that the sun has not set, then he should refrain from eating and drinking immediately. Then when the sun sets, he will break his fast. His fast will be pure. There will be no difficulty. Because God said,

رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا

“O our Lord! If we make a mistake or forget to do it, don’t catch us”. [Surah Baqarah: 286]

◍ 2. Injections (muscular, skin or intravenous injections) for diseases that are not affected by food and drink, such as: fever, pain, cuts and burns, weakness not due to hunger etc. Drinks don’t work.

Similarly, insulin injections for diabetes, anesthetic injections for dental treatment, etc. will not harm Siam.

◍ 3. Whether it is through intercourse with Junwi or through Swapna Dosha – in both cases one can take the Niyat and Sahoor of fasting without taking ghusl, there will be no defect in fasting.

But before the Fajr prayer must take a bath. Ayesha (ra) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform Fajr in the state of janawat (uncleanness)

through intercourse with his wife, not through a dream. Then he would take a bath and complete his fast. [Bukhari Hadith No. 1926]

◍ 4. There is no difficulty in fasting if ejaculation occurs due to dreaminess, disease, fear or mental weakness (other than excitement while awake). Because he has no hand in it.Roja

◍ 5. There is no fault in fasting if vomiting is not intentional due to disease. [Documents previously cited]

◍ 6. If blood comes out of the body or if the horn is applied, the fast will not be invalidated. The horn can be implanted and operated in the state of siam. It is different that it is permissible to break fast due to greater weakness in that state. Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam put on the horns while in Ihram and fasting. [Bukhari Hadith No. 1938 & 1939] But in a hadith, the fasting of both the person who planted the horn and the one who is planted is broken. It has become Mansukh through the above hadith of Bukhari and the hadith narrated by Daraqutani, Bayhaqi and Tabarani. [See: Muhalla 6/205 pp. Irayaul Galil 4/72-75, Ashiyam wa Ramazan pp. 224-226.]

Similarly, bleeding from an injury, giving blood for a blood test, bleeding from a tooth, or bleeding during a tooth extraction will not harm fasting.

◍ 7. Kissing the wife and light entertainment are allowed. The validity of all this has been verified without exception from the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace. But for those people who can control lust. [Bukhari Hadith No. 1927, 1928, 1929 and As Siam 228-229 p. Note the latter text.]

◍ 8. Administering medicine through the anus or penis will not invalidate fasting. In this way, if inside the stomach outside the stomach, if the head bursts, if medicine enters the head, then fasting will not be broken. [As Siam pp. 231-234]

◍ 9. Applying kajal to the eyes, instilling medicine in the eyes and ears, steaming the nose for asthma or breathing problems, taking inhalers or oxygen, using make-up for women, etc. will not invalidate the fast.

◍ 10. Rinsing with water and cleaning the nose with water does not invalidate fasting. However, don’t overdo it. By doing this, if something accidentally enters through the nose or throat,

the fast will not be invalidated or makruh. This has been reported from various companions and followers. [As Siam pp. 234-236] Roja

◍ 11. There is no problem if you bathe too much with water, or pour too much water on your head due to heat, swimming, diving in water. There is no harm in Siyam if you take perfume and flower fragrance or apply it, use oil, cream, etc.

Using gargling medicine, using miswak and toothpaste, swallowing spit or phlegm will not harm Siam.

◍ 12. Women can check the curry with their tongue if necessary to check the various conditions while cooking. The validity of these matters has been verified from various Companions and Tabi’i [with evidence see:
