Many have raised the question that Sharmin got this opportunity because she is the director’s niece. In reply he said, “I did not get any benefit.

He loves me a lot, but I don’t see him as my uncle on the set. I used to look up to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and he has earned this respect through his work.”
